Weekday Services
Shacharit (the times listed are when we start Korbanot)
- Sunday and Legal Holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, December 25th, and January 1st) Shacharit begins at 7:45am
- Monday thru Friday Shacharit begins at 6:30 am
- During the month of Elul, Selichot begins 45 minutes before Shacharit (at 5:45 or 7:00).
Weekday Mincha/Arvit begins 10 to 15 minutes before sunset. On Sundays it is always at Ohel Shalom. Monday thru Thursday between Pesach and Sukkot (during the summer), it is at Ohel Shalom. Monday thru Thursday during the winter it is at Sephardic Congregation on Howard and California.
A second Arvit is at 10:00pm Sunday thru Thursday when the Sephardic Community Kollel is in session.
Shabbat Services
- Mincha of Erev Shabbat begins 10 minutes before sunset, year round. During the summer there is an additional early minyan that starts approximately 10 minutes after Plag HaMincha. (Please call for exact dates and times.)
- Shacharit begins at 8:15 with Korbanot, followed by Kiddush.
- Mincha of Shabbat begins 30 to 35 minutes before sunset, and is followed by Seudah Shelishit.
Yom Tov and Hol HaMoed
Yom Tov services generally follow the Shabbat schedule, and Hol HaMoed services generally follow the weekday schedule, but there a lot of exceptions to that rule, so please check our weekly newsletter as holidays approach to find out the exact times.
