The Chanukah Party is BE”H scheduled for THIS Motza’ai Shabbat, December 24, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ateret Chaya Simcha Hall. $15.00/adult ; $5.00/child ; $60.00 family (of 5 or more adults) ; Questions by Rabbi Raccah has been cancelled last minute.. our apologies … BUT we have arranged for a special guest entertainment for the children with balloon designing and more! Goody bags will be given to our terrific children!! There will be a dairy meal served. (pizza, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, chumus, babganush, rice, salad and of course Sufganyot!!)
The exciting Sephardic Sunday program returns again BE”H for its pre-Rosh HaShana installment on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm at Ohel Shalom. Local vendors will be showcasing their wares including Designed challah covers, table runners and more; women’s hair coverings and girl’s hair accessories; Jewelry; Handmade Kippot; Educational/Thinking games; Stylish ladies purses, scarves and skirts; and more!! Also there will be Shiurim at this time. We hope to see you there!
Chol Ha-Moed Sukkot Trip
BE”H Ohel Shalom is planning a fun day for Chol Hamoed October 16th, at Xtreme Trampolines. All participants must sign a waiver. Under-age participants must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver for them. Buses will be waiting at the Beit Knesset at 8:00 a.m. They will leave precisely at 8:30 a.m. Please RSVP by October 5th if you are interested in a place on the bus. If you plan on driving yourself, you must still RSVP by October 8th to be part of our group rate.
