Annual Picnic This Sunday
Ohel Shalom’s Annual Picnic will be held at Lerner Park this Sunday, September 11th from 12:00-4:00. (note: time change) This is one of the Kehila’s most popular events of the year, so please plan on joining us for a wonderful afternoon! Women are needed to come to the Beit HaKnesset after Shabbat to help cut vegetables for the picnic.

Her acclaimed mastery of cooking-arts brings spice and bold flavors to the table with grace and restraint. Chef Desai was a contestant on “Top Chef”, (NY – Season 5), the #1 rated food show on cable, where aspiring chefs compete for their shot at culinary stardom. She performed admirably in an impressive display of her versatility and originality. She will be bringing these world-class skills to our event. This is her first fully kosher event, and Chef Desai is looking forward to the challenge of providing you with an authentic taste of Indian haute-cuisine within a kosher context.
